1994 Evinrude OceanPro 150 gear selector length question

Hello everyone;

I have removed the lower unit from my 1994 Evinrude 150 hp OceanPro. I've had ongoing problems with the front controls not shifting into neutral properly. I've made adjustments to the cables, with no change. I removed the lower unit (which is a replacement unit installed by the previous owner) to verify operation of the gear selector rod. My unit has a 25" shaft.

I want to properly measure the length of the rod before reinstalling. My shop manual has a number of different measurements listed for the various iterations of the engines. I frankly am not sure what my engine is: is it a 60 degree or 90 degree unit?

The answer will tell me how long the selector should be.

Well----I can not see your motor.----Model # or picture makes it easy.----I am assuming it is the 60 degree like the ones I own.----26-1/4" is the dimension.
