1992 force 120 hp

I have a 1992 force 120 hp, can i interchange parts from a 1996 120 hp?

Crank rod blew hole in crank case will a 96 120 hp crank case work?

You might get lucky and the block "might work" ??
You have the serial/ model #s for both?

The 92 is Prestolite Ignition and Force lower unit.
91/2 was when they started using Mercury equipment. I/e transom assy. T@T units.
The 94 is pretty much Mercury except for the block and carbs.

If you post the serial#s I can compare the part #s and see if they will cross?

what I have come up with so far is crank bearings match so I'm thinking I could split the block and use the case. I will research the part #s and get them to you. bought the 96 and was told it would drop right in until I looked at the spline so figured I could make one out of the 2 motors.
