1990 merc 115 low end bog

i have a 1990 merc 115 cylinder and when i go to take off it wants to bog down coming out of the hole. i have ran sea foam in it and still no change. its on a 1991 astro fish and ski 17.6 ft and the prop is a 13X19.

You may or may not be familiar with the---2+2--- concept on that motor.---------At idle the bottom 2 cylinders do not get enough fuel to fire consistently. It only runs on the top 2 cylinders.--------------It starts running on all 4 when it gets to 1800 RPM or there abouts.-----------I believe it does have an accelerator circuit and that may be worth checking out.--------You might try a smaller pitch prop if you are pulling skiers.

You need to clean/rebuild the carbs...they're full of fuel varnish deposits...jets are gummed shut.
