I was given this boat by my uncle recently and it had sat up for 2 years. I cleaned the carbs and checked the spark plugs and everything seemed fine. I put the muffs on it and got it to crank. It idled steady for a few seconds and then started revving way up and would go back down. The rpm gauge is broke so I have no idea where the range was but it was a substantial increase and then it would drop off. Any ideas on what could cause this?
