Howdy... I am the recipient of a 1989 Johnson 30hp. I've fixed a few problems already (had a few missing screws causing that big vertical shaft controlled by the throttle to dislodge, grounding problems, etc), and adjusted the idle speed, and now it idles as shown in the video:
At the 0:20 second mark there is a... backfire? and a cloud of smoke. And at the end of the video it stalls. Any help is appreciated.
