1989 180 / 3.7LX*4bbl. mercruiser fuel filter questions

I believe there are two fuel filters on this engine one in the fuel pump itself one on the carb. With one if any is usually dirty.
Just got the boat and want to change them before launching.

the first one in the fuel line would catch the most, but I would atleast inspect both of them.
