First post.. I just purchased a jon boat with a Evinrude motor. I noticed a loose bolt sticking out but cannot get it out, the head of the bolt is preventing that. Can I just remove the two screws circled in red to move the cover plate to get that screw out? No experience with outboards, I just dont want that bolt flopping around that may cause any issues? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Mark
