i have a boat with an evinrude 140 out of 88.
Up to now the engine had full power and drove well.
Now it has no more performance under load.
Everything is fine when idling, the engine revs up and sounds great.
But when i want to drive, the motor does not go over 2000 rpm and has no power.
Ignition was checked, new spark plugs and cables were installed. today the powerpack was exchanged, but it has not gotten any better.
Vro is no longer active.
How can it be that the engine revs up to full speed without load and not in gear?
