I have a 86 Yamaha 25hp it’s the foreign model it idles perfect doesn’t skip a beat but as your throttling up on it it doesn’t seem to get to the rpm that it should. I’ve put a new coil and new fuel pump and cleaned the carb 2 times on it and replaced all the fuel like and filter under the cowling. I took it out the other night and as I was full throttled I pumped the primer bulb and it reved up like it should for a second and ran great then stopped so that’s what made me suspect it was a fuel pump but I put the new one on and it still doesn’t run good at full throttle.
