1986 Evinrude 110hp compression

Won’t go above 2500rpm. Starts good cold and idles fine. Carburetors recently rebuilt. Good spark all cylinders. Fuel line and vent checks ok.
Compression….. 1)80 2) 80 3) 65 4) 80

Should I assume the #3 cylinder is cause?

Engine rpm’s did increase a little when spraying carb cleaner on that side.

Any suggestions and help appreciated.
 
Remove cylinder heads.-----I would be willing to bet it has broken piston rings.-----A most common failure.------Every one of the V-4 90 , 100 , 110 , 115 , 140 HP motors will suffer the same fate sooner or later.-----You will need 4 new O/S pistons and rings.------Shocking amount to get a shop to do this work.----Worth doing if you can do the work yourself.-----Your location ?
 
Ok, thanks. Was afraid of that. I can do it with a little help from my friends. �� I’m in Western North Carolina.
Bump…..Update
Sent Powerhead off for overhaul and got it all back together. I’m having a problem with it not wanting to idle. I did the throttle sync and WOT timing method. Timing shows 4 degrees during crank, but when running with fast idle I’m not getting proper advance. Any suggestions on what to check next? Thanks in advance
