1981 Mariner 60hp 2 cyl 2 stroke. Can this be modified to work with an AGM type starting battery?

Would like to be able to use an AGM type starting (#1) battery. Does anyone know if this can be converted to a regulated electrical system or what would be required to make this work? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Naw bondo I'm not going that route. I'm a newbie here and not sure how to search the forums. Has anyone here experimented with dc isolators on these older motors? Thanks

Want to charge 3 batteries but only 2 banks. 1 for main starting battery and 2 Aux in parallel. All are Deka Intimidator 8A24M AGM type. I do not have an isolator. This is a 2wire stator, cdi ignition with a rectifier. No voltage regulator. I do have a battery switch if that is considered an isolator. Would like to be able to at least turn off or redirect power when batteries are fully charged. Does anyone know how many amps these stators are rated at?
