1979 Evinrude 35 not running anymore

The motor is new to me obviously it’s a model #35902A. I just got it back from the shop and it took a couple of pulls to start but it did and ran fine for about 5-6 minutes then when I went to slow down and then speed back up it just died and won’t start anymore. Any ideas?
 
Overheating ?----Flywheel key sheared.-----Fuel hose not connected ?----Water in the fuel ?-----Time to inspect and trouble shoot.
