1978 evinrude 235. I recently purchased this from a widow who knew nothing about it other then her husband kept it at the lake, he used it 4 days prior to passing(which was 6 weeks ago). She recalls him walking to the dock, playing in the boat a few minutes, cranking it and heading off. She said it usually took a couple tries for the motor to start. I have added 10 gal of fresh fuel premixed 50:1. There are autlite surface gap plugs in good shapeI have read a lot in these forums on proper starting technique to no avail.Steps followed:Squeeze bulb until firmTurn key to on, press key in.Turn key while pressed in. Motor will turn over a few times and quitTurn key to RUN, press in once, turn key without pressing key in. Motor will turn over a few times And quitEvery once in awhile it wil run for 3 seconds or so and shut offIt's fall fishing and I need this thing to run. Hellllllllllp
