1978 85hp with no spark!!!!

I have a 1978 evinrude 85hp. I had it running last year. I went out to start it today. The only thing it will do is turn over. There is no spark and I checked all the wires. What am I over looking?

If you have a weak battery or a poor condition starter, then the motor may not be cranking fast enough to get spark.----------Try cranking with a spark tester with all sparkplugs out.

Okay I will give that a try. I have the battery on charge i will see what happened. Thanks

Okay man no dice. It is still craking over but no spark. The battey was at full.

Original control box ? -----Is there a " kill switch " ??---------Perhaps you have an ohmmeter and you need to test the ignition charge coils and the sensor coils.
