1977 Merc 110 Handle Removal

Have a Merc 110 on my sailboat and would like to remove the till handle. It has two screws at the swivel junction w/4mm allen hex heads. Is there any special process needed to remove these? Are they both standard metric right hand threads? Is there an online repair / parts manual available?

Right hand threads.-------Just take the screws out.-----Nothing will jump at you.

Thanks, they are very hard to remove, wanted to make sure before I applied too much pressure!
