1977 Evinrude 70hp will not start

My motor will not start. It was starting fine, then nothing.

• The battery is fully charged
• It cranks when I jump the solenoid, so I replaced it, and it still doesn' start
• The only thing that happens is the choke opens and closes when I turn the key. Yes, I push the key all the way in.

I will check the ground wire, again. I believe I reconnected the ground wire correctly when I changed the solenoid.
I don't know how I can check the neutral switch in the control box, tho. I checked the handle to make sure it's in neutral. It is.
