1976 Johnson 70hp Stalls underload

I have a 1976 Johnson that idles fine and revs-up, but once put in gear it stalls. The motor has not run in several years and I suspect that I have carb issues. Plenty of spark and good compression. Changed the plugs and ran some Sea Foam through her, but still runs poorly. Were do I start? Should I just change the carbs or is there something easy I should check first?

You need to take those carbs apart and do a proper cleaning and a good rebuild kit for each carb.
