1973 Evinrude 65hp 65373R Outboard Motor, No Spark, Please Help

We've tried replacing the solenoid, so thats the not the problem, what should we try to check next? Theres no spark in any of the three cilinders..

Solenoid has nothing to do with making spark !---------disconnect / open the big red plug , crank it over with jumper cable and see if there is spark.

How do we do we crank it over with a jumper cable?

Small jumper wire from positive battery cable terminal of starter solenoid to small 3/8" nut terminal of solenoid that energizes the solenoid (not the 3/8" nut ground terminal).

Be sure to have spark plugs removed.

Is it the I or the S terminal?

There is no "I" or "S" terminal on the starter solenoid. What are you talking about?

You are basically trying to jump start it.
You are pulling the red plug to isolate to see if it is in the wiring harness/control box, or the engine side.
Jumper cables on battery side.
Red to +
Blk to -

Engine side Blk to the block or large metal area.
Engine side Red to side of solenoid that goes to starter (top side). The second you touch the last wire it should start to turn over. Have the spark tester already set up.
