1969 johnson 115 and 1971 johnson 100

i bought a 1969 johnson 115 that requires 383298 — PULSE PACK ASSEMBLY and its missing,,i have a 1971 johnson100 that has a 383299 — AMPLIFIER ASSY,,is it the same thing as pulse pack? can i put the amplifier on the 69? by looking at wiring,,they look like they are the same thing just diff name

The 100 used breaker points.-----The 115 did not.----It may work.------Your location ?

There was a universal kit available for these 68 to 72 motors.-----Not sure what kit is on your 71 model 100 HP.-----These are a somewhat troublesome and expensive system.

there is a amplifier assembly on the 71,,wiring seems to be the same without the plug,,the 69 has a plug to plug in the pack,,but the wires go the same places

Dont buy a CDI 113-8362 or the 765987(same MFG) unit as it took me 5 units to get a good one that worked.

The 69 uses a sensor to trigger a transistor to make it spark thus a pulse The amplifier style use points to ground it to make it spark. so no it will not work.
