I need to replace wire harness part #0382560,shown as item #35 in manual schematic.All sites show it as unavailable. Can an updated version be used as a replacement?

I did check on this part and yes this part has been discontinued from our web site, marineengine.com .. good luck with your search.

I have a '73 Evinrude that like yours, the wiring harness has been discontinued on. I was able to find one at a local boat shop off a "parts" outboard. Paid very little and it works like a champ.
