1966 Johnson mq-12 9.5 hp

My 9.5 runs like a top. However it seams to jump out of gear sometimes(not all the time). I thought maybe it was a spun hub but not sure if the prop for this motor has a replaceable hub. It’s a shear pin design

any advice would be appreciated

It does have a rubber prop hub.

Ok thx. Possibly it’s as simple as that. Is it replaceable?

Might be tough to find a prop shop to replace that bushing.-----Drain the gear oil.-----Any water ?---Shiny metal bits ?----These have a habit of wearing the bushing above pinion gear.

It is replaceable (if you can find a source), but probably cost as much or more than the whole prop.
