1965 thunderbolt

Any option on using a 65 mercury thunderbolt. I have 59 Johnson but comments are that Johnson is “nasty” machine exhaust wise. Ab
Anyway any thoughts?

The 1965 model 65 HP Mercury is an excellent smooth running motor.----Have 1 or more of them myself for restore / parts.----A 63 and 65 / 66 model.
