Well i am looking into buying a boat down the road from me and it has been sitting for a while. Anyways it has a mercury blackmax 150 with serial number 6636062. I have the opportunity to try to get it running before i purchase the boat but the wiring is hacked coming out of the motor. I believe it had an evinrude on it before so i have no idea how to temporarily wire this thing just enough to crank it over and see if it pumps water. i have the wiring figured out to crank the starter over but have no spark. I also have a wiring diagram for motor side but nothing for the 8 prong boat side, any help would be greatly appreciated.
