07 9.9 cowl

hi..im in need of a cowl for a 07 9.9 four stroke. the listing on here and boats.net says unavailable....any suggestions ???

thanks jeff, i looked but didn't see anything. do you know what years are compatible ? is the yamaha cowl the same as merc ?

As I understand it, several hp motors and Yammies all use the same cowl (but with different graphics).

The 07's 4S are/were built by Tohatsu.

So Tohatsu and Nissan cowls will fit - there is actually nothing "Merc" about the 4 stroke Merc portables (25 horse and under) except for the decals, they are 100% designed and built by Tohatsu with Tohatsu parts (who also builds all the Nissan's).

However, both tend to be less common and may be harder to find a cowl for.
