I have a 2003 Johnson....BRP...115hp EFI that when it cranks it dies after about 3 seconds. Have checked fuel supply to the filter (clear) and the metal Filter. Both seem to have supply and pressure when I remove the lines. Will this motor run on the muffs or does it need to be submerged?
If you prime the bulb primer till tight it may run 4 sec then dies but starts right back up? Installed new spark plugs has 190-200 PSI on ea of the 4 cyl. This is a inline 4 NOT a V-4.
1,2,3,4, is the order of plug wires from top to bottom. runs smooth when cranked just wont stay running.
Any thoughts?
