1986 Mercury 75HP No Fire

Engine has no fire at any of

Engine has no fire at any of the four cylinders. I recently purchased this and was told by the previous owner the powerpack had been replaced last year. I noticed on the keystart shifter housing a slot where a kill switch may need to be in place but nothing there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As I recall if the kill switch is disconnected, it won't turn over or do anything. "

Is there a toggle switch under the key switch? If so it should be in the up position.

I BOUGHT A WIRING HARNESS FOR MY 115 HP MERCURY MOTOR AND GOT THE WIRES MIXED UP. DOES ANYONE HAVE A DIAGRAM OF HOW THEY GO. 70'S MODEL 1150

flip the toggle up on that ki

flip the toggle up on that kill switch and retest the spark... IF YOU NOTICE IT SAYS RUN ABOVE THE SWITCH and the switch needs to be in that possition. the lanyard doesnot need to be there but the switch does need to be on.
