" How do you manually start thi s motor when battery goes dead, opened cover, there is no way to get to the flywheel to put a pull rope on. also where can I get a service manual on this motor Mahalo from the Big Island KONA "

As far as I know it can't be done! Just hope it doesn't fail!
You can order a fits all manual from most marine accessory stores. It will cover various motors and years. You can also order a manual for that particular motor from any Johnson/Evinrude dealer.Part # 507127 is for V6 60 degree motors.

I have the same engine. Carry an extra battery if necessary. Even if U had a rope etc. start do U really think U could start it? If you're 7'6" and weigh 400 #s and R pure muscle. MAYBE?
