mercrusier 3.0 replaced starter and still just here click

hi I replaced starter in mercrusier 3.0 and still here click click but when run juice direct to starter it spins but that's it checked the in line fuses there were 2 that I found and they are good any suggestions
 
There is another solenoid. Follow the wire from the starter solenoid, it should lead you to the shifter bracket assembly and the slave solenoid that is mounted towards the rear of this bracket on the 3.0l.
 
izdbye is right, i had the same issue with my mercrusier, replaced slave solenoid and it stared right up. little hard to get it off.
 
If you short the two top mounted studs together and the starter cranks the engine...the slave solenoid is fried IF the solenoid does have 12 vdc at the small + stud when the key is turned to the start position.
