hello all I have a seized merc 402 1979 it was under water(sea) for 3 days how do i get it un seized I built this engine with help from this forum i've stripped it down and just trying to get crank and pistons out. any help would be nice.

IF you can unseize it--pull the plugs and try to rotate the flywheel--, then flush the motor with lots of oil, plugs out, and spinning it over with a drill motor. The flywheel also needs to come off, so youy can flush the water out of the coils and WD-40 everything. The carb needs to be drained (remove the plug at the bottom with a 7/16 wrench) and flooded with fresh gas--pump it in until what comes out looks good. Then get it runnign! That's the most important part.

pull the plugs....fill each cylinder with marvel mystery oil...let sit overnight......then see if that will free up the motor.....then do as fastjeff said....
marvel mystery oil is a MUST first step !!
