" I have a Volvo Penta 4.3GL PEFS, on each Exhaust Elbow there is a valve screwed in with a hose that leaves the valve and terminates just outside the flame arrester. I think from the Volvo parts diagram they are called check valves. What are they for and how can I check they are working?
