I've pulled out a bad mec
I've pulled out a bad mechanical fuel pump and I'm struggling to reinstall the new one. When securing the (2) bolts there is a 3/16" gap at the top of the fuel pump casting to the engine block. I don't want to force bolt torque and crack the top of the fuel pump. How do I engage the pump arm into the drive rod and run home these two bolts? Very frustrated as I'm a descent wrench turner. What am I doing wrong?
