" I took my 90hp Mercury out f

" I took my 90hp Mercury out for a test run yesterday. It had been sitting around for several years. It runs at idle and revs well in neutral, but bogs down when a gear is engaged. I noticed fuel coming out of one of the caburetor release valve. I checked the lower screw on the float bowl and there doesnt appear to be any goo or gel and fuel ran out. What do I check next? "

You have to remove

You have to remove the carbs and clean out every orifice thoroughly. It would probably be a good idea to obtain carb rebuild kits.

Thanks, so how involved is taking the carbs apart? Will I run into issues with the oil injection? Is there any way to run some fliud through an clean them? "

i have the same problem... what is the proper procedure for adjusting the floats?
