" my motor is a V4, foot OMC mod#du 10 s, and last fall,bought her for a steal, put her in once to place her on the trailer correctly for the winter,antifroze the engine cooling system, stablized the gas,topped it, then went to draid the foot, i knew when i bought her the previous owner knew even less than my 12yr old,also that my tilt was inoprable though i hear the motor it doesnt move. In draining the foot, which had zero oil in it,yet no water either!But found one screw on the tilt gear cover that was less than standered and opened up the cover to find rusty water,and a crapped seal, this is no big deal, atleast i hope a new gasket, anp proper bolt the rusting problem should be cured. My poser is how difficult will it be for me to remove,clean,repair,and reassemble,of coarse hoping the problem is only the pin has sheared as i suspect. "
