Am i correct in my assumption

Am i correct in my assumption that you can not disconnect the VRO. I am making this assumption based on the fuel is sprayed directly into the cylinder therefore the oil can't be in the fuel because it would bypass the lower end bearings. The oil must be injected directly into the crank case and be carried into the cylinder by the air intake.
If you mixed the oil with the gas no oil would get to the crank bearings.

There is no VRO on the Ficht

There is no VRO on the Ficht motor. You have an oil pump seperate from the fuel pump.

" Yep, Thats right. Your fuel, with a little oil, is injected into the cylinders through the injector located on the heads. The majority of oil, for lubrication, is injected through fittings on the front part of the crankcase. "

So the oil gets into the cylinders with the air not mixed with the fuel?
Thanks ghost

There is a little oil mixed w

There is a little oil mixed with the fuel to clean injectors and reduce internal fuel system deposits

Direct injection means the ai

Direct injection means the air goes thru a throttle body. The fuel is injected into the cylinder after the ports close. The oil is injected to the pistons and crankshaft where needed. It is just not the same as granpa's fishing motor.
