"I'm not too experienced with larger ourboards but I just got this one for a deal and it looks like something might be missing from the transom bracket hydraulics. The previous owner has no idea as she inherited it from her dad.

" From the pictures, I see nothing missing. Just check the pump. If it tilts and retracts ok, go for it. Just make sure it passes an inspection. Check the compression, spark, and do a test run. Replace the waterpump just in case.

" Thanks, but it doesn't come out of the tilt position. The battery is fully charged. I hear the pump run and the thing jserks a bit but nothing. The lock isn't engaged.

" Check the oil in the pump. If it is low, it will not move up or down.
