" I have a 1995 Mercury 115 outboard. I'm in the process of changing the water pump. I have removed five bolts, two on each side of the lower unit and one in the back, just below the trim tab. The lower unit will not budge. Is there another bolt, help. thanks "

" Tcopello...First make sure its in forward gear as this will make it easier to reinstall. They are usually stuck like this, so what I do is reinstall 2 bolts loosley and trim motor down and stand on the cavitation plate and bounce with a quick jerk and the lower unit should separate from the midhousing. NOTE, make sure the bolts are in or the lower unit will hit the floor!!...DJ "

I'm pretty handy, but know nothing about marine engines. Is there anything special I should know before attempting this project. The motor has less than 40 hours on it. "
