A guy is trying to sell me this 30hp Johnson long leg that he brought back from Hong Kong and he thinks the model year is 1987. Can anyone provide the exact model number.

I want a long leg to stand in for my '83 55hp Johnson OB jet when I go on lakes. Hopefully my spare parts supply would also be interchangeable and maybe I can put a few hp on that 30 with my spare dual carbs.

Can anyone also tell me if any of these 30hp parts are commn with the 50hp parts from 1983. Or maybe the 40/50/60hp engines are one group and the smaller ones are different? The key thing I want is to use the long leg but 30hp is minimal for my 14' Misty River and I would like to have 40.
