want to repower a 1976 28 Ber

want to repower a 1976 28 Bertram flybridge boat. What are my options as to make/model of diesel engines? I only have heard about Yanmar 230 HP turbo charged 4 cyl.

Ask around the waterfront especially commercial fisherman, and see what they run and where they buy and get parts and service.
