Slow when tilt down

"my 1979 alpha will tilt up fast but when you go to tilt down it almost doesn't move, unless you help it by pushing down. there seems to be good fluid movement but?"

I have a similar problem with one of my legs, I have also had the same problem once before and an overhaul of the trim pump fixed the problem.
It can also be a colapsed hydraulic line or cylinder problem.
Dissconect your rams where they bolt to the trunk area of the leg and work your trim controls. Note if both rams move at around the same rate or is one much slower than the other.
If they are both moving slowly it is a pump problem, if one moves much slower than the other it is most likely a hose or ram problem.
