    "If you're talking about replacing a long block, it should be a fairly straightforward bolt-in, John. Make sure all the accessories and pumps have the needed mounting points - sometimes heads have different accessory mounting bosses on the front. Oh, and you're not going to put old, rusty manifolds on a nice new block, right?

    My money's on a Borg Warner Velvet Drive tranny. No ID plate on it anywhere?
