I've just installed a trim

I've just installed a trim gauge on my i/o and it does'nt work. Is there a way to check the trim sender to see if it is sending a signal?

Put an Ohm meter accr

Put an Ohm meter accross the 2 wires that come from the sender, lift the leg up and down and take note of the meter, the resistance value that you are measuring should vary as the leg gos up and then return as it go's down.
