"most engine troubles are from clogged carb jets from sitting over a year, with todays gas even less. When these jets get clogged, that cyl or cyls gets no fuel or vary little fuel, which mean no OIL. Running lean on fuel burns up the engine in a short time. So we start with the basics to see if the engine is OK, compression, and spark, then we clean the carbs. Spark can be tested with a timing light on each plug wire, but better to have a spark tester. Check the comp and spark and let us know.
