"i have a late 70's 20hp motor. when im cruising along all out it all of a sudden revs and has no load on it, i tried this twice and then after that i just went back to half throttle. i had another prop on it before that one and it was definatly spun because i basically could go nowhere. now the guy gave me a used "rental" prop until my new one comes in and its this one that is doing the symptoms i described. is there something causing this problem? or just bad luck in props?and also it works ok in reverse if you go very slow, but if you give it some more it kinda jumps. is that normal? driver error?"
