"What should my voltage be reading?----I checked @ the battery with a meter, @ idle it reads 12.02, with with the blower, lights and radio on it drops to 12.0, still @ idle----@ a fast idle with nothing on it goes up to 12.06 Shouldn't this be above 13?"

"Actually, you want far more voltage than that.

Check out the battery charge level chart below:

12.6V = 100%,

12.5V=80%

12.4V=60%

12.3V=40%

12.2V=20%

12.1V=0% DEAD

Since you need about a 1/2 to 1 volt to move amps into a battery, add that much to the above to charge it all the way up.

Well I took the alternator to

Well I took the alternator to be bench tested and it was putting out NOTHING! It's getting rebuilt. Thanks for all the input.
