"I got the motor running! It is still sputtering at full throttle so I am open for suggestions on that one.
What was wrong?
Carb needed cleanout, new valve and seat
New fuel pump INSTALLED CORRECTLY
I will buy correct spark plug and gap it correctly tomorrow along with the suggested inline fuel filter.
Sears no longer sells parts for this motor so I am on the hunt for the kit which has the round screen and those parts where the fuel line goes in."
