"Hello Graham, so nice AND gratefull to know that there is an expert here. Pse if you can...
I have a 40hp Mariner cdi and single coil pack(spare) for 2 plugs.There are absolutely no numbers on the motor> Now my big question is: can this cdi unit (incl coil etc) be used on a suzuki 40hp which is supposed to work with a cdi-unit? Again, no numbers on the Suzzuki motor. Help greatly appreciated. Jean W. Sleeman (south Africa)"

"hi, I am looking for someone who has a short shaft 40hp mariner....I have a 40hp 2 stroke mariner long shaft. i am looking to convert it to a short shaft. If anyone wants to convert theres form short to long, i will be happy to swap the shafts. If anyone is interested please mail me. Mine is a later model think around 1989. thanks."
