Cananyone tell me where I can get the seal for the driveshaft at the waterline? Also pro and con of changing 289 to 302

"John, unless Correct Craft used a "dripless" sealed stuffing box, your ski boat most likely uses good old waxed flax packing - available at most marine supply stores. If your stuffing box has a threaded packing nut that you can adjust, then flax is most likely inside. You'll need to know the correct diameter size for your box.

Besides a little more power, the main advantage of going to a 302 is better availability of parts than for a 289.
