"I HAVE TAKEN A AQ140 CAM AND STUCK IT INTO A AQ125A MOTOR, LARGER BORE. WITH A LARGER CAM AND I AM GOING TO RUN DUAL CARBS, WHICH SHOULD NET ME MORE POWER, I HOPE! I NEED TO KNOW IF THE FLYWHEELS ARE THE SAME, THE 125 HAS A BALANCER, WHERE AS THE AQ 140 HAS A PULLEY ON THE CRANK. DOES THIS MEAN THAT ONE IS EXTERNALLY BALANCED AND THE OTHER IS INTERNALLY. OR DOES IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH THE FLYWHEELS?"

"The AQ125A and the AQ140A hav

"The AQ125A and the AQ140A have exactly the same bore. Are you talking about the AQ125B? The latter is a B230 block, and the former a B21.

The flywheels are identical in the AQ125A, AQ125B and AQ140A."

"yes, it is a 125b and thanks

"yes, it is a 125b and thanks on the flywheel info. but why does one have a balancer?
and with your experience, what kind of horsepower do you think this combo will produce?"

"My guess is that the balancer

"My guess is that the balancer was added when VP went from B21 and B23 to B230 blocks due to the differernt crankshaft and displacement.

No idea of what kind of HP you will obtain with your AQ-DarowEmmett

, but my guess is around 135."
