"Three years ago I put a new powerhead on my 1977-200hp evinrude. I also put new power packs,regulator and stator assembly on at that time.The motor has run perfectly until last week. I hit a large wake (shook the boat pretty good) and the engine immediately lost power, would not respond to throttle position, slowed down and ultimately died. I checked the fuel pressure and flow (both excellent on new pumps), checked the spark and found strong blue-lightening at 7/16 on the port side and nothing at all on all coils starboard side. I eliminated the key switch with same results. Any suggestions? thanks, Don Dana"
