"Could I test if my manifolds

"Could I test if my manifolds are cracked by talking them off and hooking the garden hose to the inlet and seeing if water comes out of the exhaust ports or outside? It should only coume out after the elbow correct?

"Not really. It'll come out where it's supposed to, and that won't tell you if it's leaking elsewhere.

mine was obvious with the hose

mine was obvious with the hose.....
I stood it up on end so both fitting were up then just aimed the hose in and just about the same time water made it out the outlet fitting it also started coming out one of the exhaust ports.
